2010 CTBRA Pre Entry Rules and Guidelines

1. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU USE THE NEW 2010 ENTRY FORM!!!! NO HAND WRITTEN ENTIRES!! ALL PRE-ENTRIES MUST BE PAID FOR BEFORE YOU RUN!! PRE-ENTRIES MUST CHECK IN BEFORE YOU RUN!! Pre Entries will be taken by fax only the Monday-Thursday before a point show the week of the barrel race at the following times:

Beginning 7a.m. Monday and Ending 12p.m . Thursday before each race

Entry forms are located on the web site under the tab “ 2010 Forms”. Pre-Entries will be posted on the website no later than the Friday before a race.

The entry forms are to be faxed to Mitzi Angelle at 512/685-1115. Please write/print legibly! There is a $1.00 PER PAGE fax fee. If for some reason entry forms print out on two sheets, we will not charge you for the extra sheet. Printers can vary and we understand this. If you need to send a cover letter with notes, there will be a charge for the cover letter.

2. You may request a particular run number, HOWEVER, due to the large number of entries being faxed, run numbers will be given in order fax is received (date & time) and given as close as possible to your request. There are no guarantees. You may request which page you would like your exhibitions to be on, there are 4 pages in the open/novice and 2 pages in the youth and 2 pages for poles. On Stake exhibitions are done right after the open. Adults will not be allowed to exhibition during the Youth Exhibitions unless pages are NOT FULL prior to the start.**Please understand that sometimes faxes do not go through and I am only human. I will work with everyone to accommodate as best as I can! If you want to check that your fax was received, please just email me, mitziangelle@ymail.com, don’t call as I cannot possibly take that many calls on top of faxes and I will not always be sitting right at the fax machine. I will answer your email as received or not received when I can, but draw numbers will only be released when posted.

3. You may only receive 2 exhibitions per horse (unless we are not full-check at the race). All horses that exhibition MUST BE ON AN ENTRY FORM and paid for (even horses you are not running in any of the races!). All entries and exhibitions are final and MUST BE PAID FOR BEFORE YOU RUN! (If you only exhibition a horse and the exhibition is not on an entry form, you will not receive a “participation” for the show, it must be on an entry form-this is YOUR responsibility!!)

4. If you pre-enter and are a “NO SHOW”, you must pay the No Show entry fee prior to running in the next show, unless you call with/have a legitimate excuse. Please contact me if you are not going to show. Email is best if possible. If you need to call me about a No Show, you may reach me at 512-422-4821. If I do not answer you MUST leave a message. Just saying you tried to call is not sufficient. There will be no refunds or changes made to pre-entries unless there is a legitimate excuse.
