NOTICE ~ BE READY FOR YOUR EXHIBITIONS! WE WILL CALL YOUR NAME 3 TIMES. IF YOU ARE NOT IN THE WARM UP AREA AND READY, YOU WILL LOSE YOUR EXHIBITION! NO EXCEPTIONS! BARREL EXHIBITIONS MUST BE KEPT UNDER 60 SECONDS OR YOU WILL BE CHARGED $5 Hopefully, this will help us stay on schedule.

CTBRA has always strived to promote safe, family oriented horsemanship and we have no tolerance for animal abuse. Think before you whip, you are always someone's role model.

2012 Novice Horse Classes ~ $100, $500, $1,000 A novice horse is determined by the amount of money that the horse has won in it's lifetime. So if you plan on nominating a horse in the Novice classes, make sure you are aware of the horses lifetime earnings. You are responsible for keeping up with all your horses yearly earnings if nominating in this class and these earnings must be reported each time you enter a novice class. When entering a Novice class, you MUST put down the amount your horse has won on each entry

Please Use NEW 2012 Entry Forms, Membership Forms and Nomination Forms! Go to “2012 Forms” Tab at the top of website to print! Entries will not be accepted unless they are on a CTBRA Official Entry Form. No Exceptions.

All riders age 16 and under MUSTS PROVIDE A COPY OF BIRTH CERTIFICATE or money and points will be withheld until such document is provided. Previous copies are filed and stored, so you must provide a new copy each year. No exceptions. Non-Members age 16 & Under must be prepared to show proof of age!

All entries must be paid for at time of entry, NO IOU’s! If you sign someone up, then you must pay their entry fee at that time. All Pre-Entries must be paid for before rider runs.

IF YOU ARE PRE-ENTERING IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CONFIRM WITH MITZI BEFORE THE RACE (NOT THE DAY OF), THAT SHE GOT YOUR FAX! PLEASE READ THE PRE-ENTRY GUIDELINES! ALSO, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR FILLING OUT YOUR ENTRY FORM CORRECTLY!

NOVICE RIDERS: IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO KNOW HOW MUCH MONEY YOUR HORSE HAS WON AND LIST ON YOUR ENTRY FORM, NOT OURS!

· Novice $20, Youth $ 20, and Open $30 will each be a separate class but run together.

o You can roll your time from the Novice class to the Open with additional fee’s .

o You can roll your time from the Youth class to the Open with additional fee’s

o You can roll your time from the open class to the 40 and over with additional fee’s.

· Immediately following open will be pole exhibitions and the pole class. $20.00 entry fee

· ****Members please provide a copy of CURRENT COGGINS on each horse and we will keep it on file. NEW COPIES MUST BE PROVIDED AT THE START OF EACH YEAR! Previous copies are filed and stored! If you don’t provide a copy, you must write your Coggins number on each entry form at every race and we must see your papers! So save yourself some time and provide a copy. We will contact you when we need an updated one. Non-Members must present Coggins at each race and place on entry form! We will not keep Non-Member copies on file!

Nomination Fee: To keep points for year end awards, a fee of $10 is required for each horse/rider combination per event.
